Mission
We exist to return agency to youths from under-resourced backgrounds. By creating spaces of belonging, opportunities for growth and scaffolds for their aspirations, we walk alongside our youths as they claim ownership of their futures.

We build scaffolds that translate life aspirations into manageable steps, in a journey that protects every youth’s ownership of their choices. This means neither doing things for youths, nor leaving them to fend for themselves. Instead, we help create the conditions they need to navigate life.

We’re always dreaming up new ways to deepen ownership and leadership within our community. One step is the Kita Youth Council – a space where alumni and community members will have real decision-making power.

This isn’t just consultation: it’s stewardship. From shaping programme directions to managing resources, we want young people to be at the heart of what Kita becomes.
