MEET THE CREATORS
MEET THE CREATORS
Our merch journey began with alumni working in small groups under the guidance of freelance designer Adia. Each group brought their own style and story to the table – for Zahrah and Devyn, that meant inventing a character that became part of Kita’s DNA.
They created Pebbie, a cheeky rock mascot, and soon gave him a crew: Kiki (the heart-shaped flirt), Roro (the fiery tomato), and Bubu (the perpetually moody one). Zahrah, who loves theatre and Dungeons & Dragons, reflected:
“I had a lot of fun learning and bonding with the others. Creating something new was fulfilling, and even more so when I saw it come to life.”
Together, Zahrah and Devyn gave us stickers that aren’t just merch – they’re little companions for our community.
