When your mentor asks if she can partner with you to launch her new single and raise funds for your programmes at the same time, there's really only one answer: obviously YES.

Shohini showed up to Kita as a mentor with music, energy and this genuine curiosity about how young people navigate life's chaos. We loved having her around. So when she pitched the idea for her Blueprint launch, we were all in.

“Come join me on a journey to find out what you’d keep, change and let go.”

The evening was intimate, heartfelt, and honestly a bit magical. Shohini invited guests to reflect on their own journeys while building their personal "blueprint" for life. Strangers became friends fast — sharing stories, laughing, occasionally tearing up.

It was one of those nights that reminds you how powerful music and reflection can be when they collide.

Shohini’s sound — pop with hints of jazz, rock and funk — carried her message loud and clear.

We all have choice, agency and the power to shape our own lives.

Her songs hit hard for anyone who's ever doubted themselves, faced loss or just wanted to feel seen. Paired with her stories and reflections, it left everyone a little more inspired than when they walked in.

Beyond the vibes, the event made a real impact. Funds raised went directly to:

• Kita Space’s community dinners and gatherings, building supportive networks and belonging.

• Kita Labs’ hands-on projects, helping youths discover interests and strengths.

• Kita Studios’ skills training and job placement, giving youths confidence and tools to step into industries they care about.
