My pet-sitting journey started with a simple love for animals. I began as a volunteer, offering free or pay-as-you-wish care to support people who couldn't afford it. Over time, the trust from pet owners gave me the confidence to start my own small business — Happipawtatoes.

Working for others, I encountered situations where I disagreed with certain care practices but had little power to advocate for the animals. That pushed me to create a space where my work could align with my values.

Pet sitting has become more than a job. I've met people from all walks of life, and some client relationships have grown into genuine friendships. My love for animals is personal. I'm a pet mum to my hamster Michiu, and I've loved and lost two beloved companions. I've also assisted with stray cat rescues and worked in a dog hotel, experiences that taught me patience, empathy and consistency.

My motto: "Your furbabies, my familia." Every animal I care for is treated as my own, even if our time together is short. This journey has shaped my character, confidence and sense of purpose.
