For a long time, I was supporting accounts behind the scenes. This project was my first time leading solo, and honestly? It felt big.

I handled ECCA Family Foundation's annual report video from start to finish — storyboarding, compiling clips, sourcing music, coordinating with our video editor. What started as a task list quickly became something else. There was no one to check with or defer to. I had to trust my own judgment and make the calls.

There were tight timelines, creative decisions I wasn't sure about and the responsibility of representing what the organisation does. I had to stay calm and adapt when things shifted, even when I didn't feel totally confident.

When the final video came together, it hit differently. It wasn't just a completed project. It was proof I could actually do this.

This project shifted something for me. I went from supporting to leading, and it gave me the confidence to take on bigger things ahead.
